Meet the Cast and Directors
Alex Andrews is thrilled to make his directorial debut with the 2020 One Act Weekend! Having performed on stage both musically and dramatically since elementary school, Alex took part in many productions in high school and improv events at USF. He was ecstatic to discover CWP in 2018, where he starred as Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. From there, he’s happily joined the CWP family continuing in productions such as A Christmas Carol, Kidspeak, and The Crucible. He thanks his family and friends for their ongoing support, and Carrollwood Players for accepting him so warmly.
Chloé Baker is in her fifth show at Carrollwood Players and it is just as enjoyable as the last 4. You might have seen her in A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Cabaret, Aida, or the Patriotic Cabaret. She thanks her family for supporting her and her amazing cast for accepting her. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Will Chamblee “is sort of okay” – Will’s parents. “He’s alright” – Will’s friend. “Get away from me” – unfriendly stranger. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Daniel Scott Dagesse is exceedingly delighted to direct for the 2020 One Act Weekend. He has directed multiple short films, but this is his first time directing a play. Daniel found the transition from film to stage to be seamless. He is ready for his hard work to come alive at Carrollwood Players Theatre. Daniel thanks his talented actors, Alexa and Will, for their diligent work and Hippie and David for being mentors during this production. Daniel also wants to hug all his family and friends for their unceasing support in his pursuit of the arts. That’ll have to wait.

She thanks her parents for keeping her dog quiet during virtual auditions, and her fellow Nubians for continuing to support her explorations into the creative arts. A big thanks to CWP for keeping arts alive during this time and being vigorous in safety to keep everyone here healthy and happy!

In any case, she is excited to be performing onstage again with such a wonderful cast and crew! Outside the theater, you can find Kara doing improv comedy with her extremely funny team, Daytime Delusions. She thanks her wonderful friends and family for their endless love and support.

She’s absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her sister, such an amazing cast, crew and theater. When not operating roller coasters, Brie is working as a freelance designer and earning her MFA in Service Design from SCAD. To see her work check out BrieNestler.com
