Individuals or businesses from the community are invited to purchase regular price show tickets for a specific performance, to donate to their favorite Tampa Bay area non-profit organization.
The tickets may be used by the non-profit for fundraising or to provide a live theater experience for volunteers or individuals served by the non-profit.
The individual or business who purchases the tickets is considered a sponsor of CWP’s “Partnerships for Good” initiative.
The three-way partnership provides benefits to each party as follows:
The sponsor receives:
- A complimentary full-page playbill ad for the entire run of the production. If available for the selected production, the ad will be placed on the back cover. Otherwise, the location will be at the discretion of Carrollwood Players. The sponsor may provide an ad of their choice or may choose to “gift” the ad space to the non-profit. In either case, a print ready, high-resolution ad must be provided to Carrollwood Players.
- Press, social media, web, blog, and email coverage, highlighting the sponsor and the sponsor’s generous spirit of community and support for their chosen non-profit.
- Acknowledgement in the curtain speech on the night of the performance.
- Complimentary tickets for the sponsor, which may be used by the sponsor or gifted to the non-profit above and beyond the tickets donated to the non-profit by the sponsor.
The non-profit receives:
- Free tickets to a performance to use for fundraising, or to provide a live theater experience for volunteer appreciation or individuals served by the non-profit.
- Permission to insert half-sheet flyers into the playbill on the night of the performance. (provided and printed by the non-profit.)
- Press, social media, web, blog, and email coverage, highlighting the non-profit and their mission and services.
- Acknowledgement in the curtain speech on the night of the performance.
- Permission to run a 50/50 raffle on the night of the performance, with all proceeds going to the non-profit.
Carrollwood Players receives:–
- Increased audience/exposure for the production.
- Press, social media, web, blog, and email coverage, highlighting Carrollwood Players Theatre’s role in community building.
- Relationship building with community minded sponsors and fellow area non-profits.
The minimum number of tickets that must be purchased to qualify for “Partnerships for Good” is 20. Tickets must be purchased at the regular adult price, which varies depending on the venue and production. Tickets must be purchased directly through our ticketing system, using any of our accepted forms of payment or by check.
All three parties participating in a “Partnership for Good” must agree to the arrangements in advance. Non-profits and community-minded sponsors are invited to email jim.russell@carrollwoodplayers.org. to arrange a “Partnership for Good.”
Non-profits are encouraged to make an “event” out of the evening, encouraging supporters and leaders of the organization to attend the performance.
Additional individual tickets may be purchased by anyone wishing to attend, subject to availability.
