CALLING ALL PLAYWRIGHTS!

Carrollwood Players accepts submissions of new, never-before-produced One Act Plays for consideration to be featured on our stage during our 2019 One-Act Play Festival on June 28-30, 2019.

Submission Guidelines:

Scripts must be, original material, unpublished and not previously produced on stage (including staged readings) in Florida.
Plays must be a maximum of 15 minutes long, there is no minimum length.
Plays will be performed against black curtain. Play settings should be simple or suggested.
Cover-sheet of play should have title, author, author’s telephone number, and author’s e-mail. The playwright’s information should not appear anywhere else in the script.
Entries are judged anonymously; the One Act Committee will only consider manuscript quality.
Scripts will not be returned.
Scripts submitted without the entry fee will not be considered.

Submission Deadline: Scripts must be received by 5:00pm February 17, 2019. The One Act Committee reserves the right to end submissions early depending on volume.

Announcement: Selections will be announced in March 2019.

Other: Auditions will occur in early April 2019. One Act Festival is June 28-30, 2019.

Entry Fee: $5.00 includes up to three submissions and may be mailed in by check or submitted via ArtsPeople at the link below. (If submitting via ArtsPeople, please remit $5 payment prior to completing the registration form.)
