Jim Johnson

Jim Johnson is a reformed politician turned elearning professional who dabbles as an amateur thespian and adroit confectioner.  After a decade in Florida politics, Jim returned to his interest in computers as a project manager for a friend’s software consulting company, then shifted to the human capital management space where he works as a product manager for Tribridge.
X
His commitment to community started at University of South Florida, his alma mater, where he was Student Body President.   Jim volunteered with the Tampa Jaycees for several years, and served on the Board of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Children’s Home Society.  In 2009, Jim decided to take a chance on theatre, debuting on stage as Gabby Sandalson in The Senator Wore Pantyhose.  Since then Jim has appeared in or directed a number of shows, and is a member of the Nine and Numb improvisational comedy troupe.
X
Outside of work and Carrollwood Players, Jim’s company Scrumptious Fudge is slowly growing, making unique and delicious sweetness.  He also enjoys watching football, and spending time with his family and friends.  You can find him on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/JimUSFSig.

Jennifer Martin

Jen Martin is a Tampa native and Air Force Veteran. She began as a singer at the age of five, with or without a stage. In her twelve years of military service, she was chosen as the National Anthem singer for dozens of Retirement, Graduation, Change of Command and sports ceremonies for various Air Force Organizations around the globe.

In 2006, while stationed in Germany, her husband forced her to audition for a role in Grease at the base community theatre, and so began her love of acting. She has appeared in many productions since then, from Shakespeare to farce to gut-wrenching drama. To her, there is nothing more magical than fully embodying a character and transporting a live audience to another little world, an emotional journey unlike any other for the actor and the audience.

In 2012, she was elected to the Board of Directors at Carrollwood Players Theatre. As chair of the Fundraising Committee, her primary focus for 2015-2016 is to exceed the goals set in the budget and generate community excitement for CWP’s long-term goal of a permanent free-standing “home”. She is proud to have been a part of the many recent positive changes and is dedicated to contributing her time and considerable energy to continuing CWP on it’s path to even greater achievements.
